yesterday ... it is world environmental day (WED), which create awareness of the environment to the people and enhance the political attention and action.

for this 2007 WED slogan is
melting ice- a hot topic?
this slogan focuses on the effects that climate change is having on polar ecosystems and communities and the resulting consequences
around the world.

It was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972 to mark the opening of the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment.
